WikiLeaks tax deductible gateways closing soon

As one may have noticed, ZigBall fully supports the concept behind WikiLeaks and utterly respects Julian Assange.

Sadly, just a few hours ago Mr. Assange tweeted:

(for a better understanding of the issues, please take the time to read the Pastebin conversation)

Why is this important: EU and US services are trying to seed the idea that sponsoring the only undisputed truth channel so far is wrong, if not even illegal. It is not illegal. People are free to decide what to do with their money and they are most definitely allowed to fund broadcasting uncomfortable truths.

Ever since its beginnings, WikiLeaks has been accused of many things. The one thing they have never been accused of is lying. Because lying to the world is not their cup of tea. By the way, feel free to buy a cup / mug from their shop. Any bit helps.ย They use the funds to protect their sources to the best of their abilities, to fight their legal battles, to maintain the website up and running for you, for us, for everyone. Even for those who would rather see them “suicided” or jailed.

ZigBall encourages you to never give up on the truth. If you can help funding it, please do. If not, just keep sharing.

In 2017, the US and EU found it appropriate to act like authoritarian regimes, trying to “starve the dissidents”. Readers from former communist block countries will understand. Don’t let WikiLeaks starve. They have shown respect to you, the common people of the world. They flipped backwards to bring you the truth. They’ve been slandered, unlawfully detained, separated from their families, have lost friends and sources to outright murder.

This is a heartfelt message, typed by someone crying.

Help the truth come out and stay out.ย

Thank you, WikiLeaks!

Keep fighting.

“It is the role of good journalism to take on powerful abusers, and when powerful abusers are taken on, there’s always a bad reaction. So we see that controversy, and we believe that is a good thing to engage in.” – Julian Assange
